OliOliva<\/span>, the “main” event of the Ligurian fall season, is also a showcase of artisanal<\/span> and floricultural<\/span> food excellence<\/span>.<\/div>\n
It was born from a 2001 project of the Imperia Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Oil Cities and the City of Imperia, and in its 18th edition, it also sees the participation of the Region and Unioncamere Liguria, Trade Associations, Agribusiness Consortia, and Ligurian Companies.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
With more than 200 exhibiting companies<\/span> and thousands of visitors<\/span>, it brings extra virgin olive oil along with typical niche products to the streets, squares and characteristic corners of Imperia Oneglia.<\/div>\n
Characteristic of the Ligurian event is mainly the festive character that celebrates the new<\/span>, freshly pressed oil<\/span>, reviving Imperia ‘oil capital<\/span>‘, a great showcase for producers and the territory, where oil is not simply a food<\/span>, but a culture and the olive tree is the defining element of the Mediterranean civilization<\/span>.<\/div>\n

OliOliva also enhances and promotes Ligurian food and wine and tourism excellence and the properties of the Mediterranean Diet through, work shops, exchanges of best practices, and conferences.<\/div>\n
